Minimum Requirements :

-Grade 12 with a minimum of six(6) months of experience in data capturing.
-DHMIS training certificate.
-Computer literacy.
-Ability to work independently and in a team.
-Ability to interpret data, analytics and numerical skills.

Duties :

-Receive data from various sections(Wards)in the institution.
-Check and verify data from various reporting units before capturing.
-Collate, capture, analyze and process data.
-Update all data on the system.
-Liaise with relevant stakeholders for non-submission of data in the Health Information Management(HIM)unit.
-Follow up on incorrect submitted data.
-Perform data quality checks.
-Maintain proper communication with all stakeholders.
-Give feedback to the HIM committee regarding the quality of data and performance.
-Ensure effective and efficient flow of data information and timeous reporting.
-Attend pieces training and meetings to address data challenges and give feedback to the institution.
-Adhere to strict deadlines and be able to work under pressure.
-Function as part of facility HIM committee and perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor.

Failure to submit the required documents will result in the application not being considered. Qualifications of candidates recommended for appointment will be verified. Persons in possession of foreign qualifications must furnish the Department with the evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). Applications received after the closing date and time will not be considered. Whites, coloured and people with ability are encouraged to apply. The candidates will be expected to be available for selection interviews on the date, time and place determined by the Department. Only online applications will be allowed.
